Approach

I have been photographing weddings full time for sixteen years, and I have covered more than three hundred and fifty of them. Most are in Bridgend, Cardiff, Swansea and across South Wales, though I will travel anywhere in the UK, and I have photographed weddings in Italy too.

The way I work is mostly candid and natural, with enough formal pictures that your families go home happy. Group shots get done properly, and quickly, with a bit of fun in them so nobody ends up with a forced smile. You will never hear me raise my voice at your guests.

Before the day I learn both family lists, so I can call people by their first names, and I find out your colours so my tie matches them. On the day I am also the one pinning buttonholes on lost groomsmen and tying a double windsor. The small things are what make it feel easy.
